Information regarding Serbia Grand Prix 2010

bazen-klisa-Novi-Sad.jpgengleska_zastavica.pngSerbian Swimming Federation would like to invite all international particiapnts to the Serbia Grand Prix 2010 which is going to be held in the City of Novi Sad on October 29-31, 2010. The place of the event is the recently built swimming facility “Klisa-Slana Bara Sport Center” (25-m pool distance - 10 lanes). The competition will be held in three days with qualifications in the morning (10 a.m.) and A and B finals in the afternoon (6 p.m.). Warming up begins one hour before the qualification (9 a.m) and finals (5 p.m.). Each club  or the national federation holds particular obligation to notify the judges’ desk if their swimmer would not take part in the finals in the time period of 30 minutes after the official announcement has been revealed. For notifications later than 30 minutes a team will be fined 10 euro penalty per swimmer. Winners’ ceremony will be held after the following final race in both male and female category. The ranking of the swimmers from the 1st to the 8th place (or 10th) will be based on the A final race times. The ranking of the swimmers from the 9th to 16th (or 11th to 20th) will be based on the B final race times. There are technical possibilities that Serbia Grand Prix 2010 will be held in 10 lanes. The official announcement regarding the number of lanes will be forwarded to the clubs either prior to the beginning of competition or a few days beforehand on the Serbian Swimming Federation's official web site.
